What do all these words speak about  ???

You may not know all these words, don't you ?
Then, i guess a little index, would help  :-)

Are there other words or references you don't understand ? Feel free to ask me !

Anime : japanese or, at least, asian cartoon. But the non-japanese anime (you can also write : "animes", highliting the "e", like "animE) can be counted on the fingers of a single hand, would it be missing one or two fingers...
(Just a remark, if you should make an abreviation, use JPN instead of JAP, there is the same kind of difference between "Black" and "nigger" if you see my point)
The manga or anime characters are drawn with a rather particular, typical style - which I adore myself :) They are often blamed for the great size of their eyes, but in Japanese culture, I'll have you know that eyes are the mirror in which is reflected the soul. As for the all-colored hair, please believe me if I tell you that this comes originally from the fact that, at first, the japanse believed that was the fashion in France, and kept the habit.

Censorship : japanese law has it that sexual parts (penis and vagina) must not be explicitly shown, whatever the media used. About a dozen years ago, the law allowed hair parts to be also shown. (This law also explains the strange japanese fascination for the hair, for them this is an erotic thing, well, who cares, that's their culture...)
This interdication is always almost respected for CG hentai, since they are part of an official business. It is less respected for doujinshi and hentai mangas, that are sold with less controls and ask for less investments.
This censorship has had a very original effect on japanese erotical drawings : since drawing a penis or a vagina was impossible, this caused the styles to evolve. Showing beautifully a body is much more important than showing a vagina. Other effects : insisting of the face, on corporal expressions, on the originality of history, etcetera. Actually, I consider that forbidding to draw penis and vaginas pulled erotical japanese drawings to a higher quality level. Whereas, in the same time, European and American erotical drawings did not improve themselves, too occupied by the representation of the rest, generating much less beautiful things than what was made in Japan.
Besides, that generated drawings in which sexual parts are shadowed, hidden by a mosaic or blurred, or also that led to soft drawings in which seeing sexual parts was not possible. Or also, another trick used (whom I hate T__T ) is the use of evil-and-very-lustful-monsters-with-several-tentacles instead of a penis (beuaaak).

CG hentai : sex pictures (erotic or, very rarely, pornogrpahic) made on computers (CG= Computer Graphics), using dedicated programs. May be successfully made or not, like for doujinshi, but the girls in there are still much less beautiful. They are artificial, less realistic, have less soul inside.
However, the informatical basis gave a more ludic approach to these pictures : these pictures are not only shown one after another, they are used to create sorts of role-play games. There is a real business of hentai games on consoles (lots and lots on the Saturn, at a certain time), and maybe on PC also.

DOA : abbreviation of Dead Or Alive, a fighting video game, in which all female characters' mensurations are at least 90C. With especially Ayane and  Kasumi, the small surface occupied by their clothes having real lots of trouble hiding their natural attributes.

Doujin : manga refering to and parodiating a cultural product (wheter it is a manga, a movie or an anime). A doujin can be hentai, but can not be, this is just a parody or inspiration. If it is hentai, it will be showing the heroes having sex. In the plural, is written "doujinshi". Almost always in black and white.
Between a hentai manga and a doujin, the difference will be that a doujin refers to an already known production, whereas a manga totally invents the history. When I say "manga", I might be mistaken and ignore the fact that there is a thing it was referring to (hence it is a doujin and not a manga)... This is why, on this site, I'll name often use the word "doujinshi" to make thinks easier, not even precising "hentai", and because I'm a lazy guy :)
Hentai mangas and doujinshi are much often censored than CG pictures.

Ecchi : like hentai, but a little softer, let's say :)

Furry : see Kemono...

Hentai : litteraly, means "pervert" in Japanese. But has been generalised to point at mangas and informatical pictures, and every element (if you push the use of the word) with sexual content.

Kawaii : "cute", "nice". This word is admirative or affectuous, and has no sexual content. Well, not automatically :)

Kemono : mix of human and animal... This can go from the human with some animal traits ("kemono"), like a girls disguised as a cat, to an animal with some human traits ("furry"), like Felicia in Darkstalkers. I think that 95% of the time this makes ugly pictures....

Lemon : short story written only for erotical and sensual scenes. See also "pwp"

Manga : asiatic equivalent of comics : drawings on paper telling stories. Almost always in black and white. In France, I wonder why, everybody believes that the term "manga" also point at Japanese cartoons : this is totaly wrong, they  are called anime.
A manga is not a hentai thing, this is a complete artistical and cultural production, containing lots of wonderfully beautiful and inspired, poetical elements, real master pieces. I could quote the authors Masazaku Katsura (who made Video Girl Ai, I"s and other mangas, I know friends who cried at the end of VGA), Tsukasa Hojo (City Hunter, Family Compo...), Yoshihiro Togashi (Hunter x Hunter...), and a lot of others mangakas (= drawers of mangas).
Between a hentai manga and a hentai doujin, the difference will be that a doujin refers to an already known production, whereas a manga totally invents the history. When I say "manga", I might be mistaken and ignore the fact that there is a thing it was referring to...

Newsgroup : yes, yes, this one has really been asked to me, once. A newsgroup is a discussion group. Like a forum, but in your mail program (Outlook or also a newsgroup dedicated program). You'll find newsgroups on every subject, including hentai with the woulderful ABPEA, alt.binaries.pictures.erotica.anime . Warning, if you click it, you'll automacally be suscribed to the newsgroup :)
More information on newsgroups at ABPEA's FAQ, here (in French).

Pwp : same thing as lemon but much harder. See "lemon".

SD : abbreviation of Super-Deformed, another manga and anime style in which, to have an homoristic style, the characters are drawn with a caricatural shape. Like the Rei I have put in my left frame : the head is very big, one third of the body. Gives a funny, good-willing and kawaii aspect to the character.

Yaoi : the word refers to a homosexual representation between men. There are two possible origins for the japanese word : «yama nashi , Ochi nashi , Imi nashi», roughly saying disant there is no limit and that sex may go further than sentiments. Or also «Yamete Oshiri ga Itai» = "stop it my ass hurts".

Yuoi : women's equivalent to Yaoi, see above.
